Omni Soundlab, in collaboration with the Dolby Creator Lab, is launching its 100% online program for certification in Dolby Atmos Music. Aimed at audio professionals worldwide, this course provides the fundamental tools to start mixing & mastering in immersive format.

MODE AND DURATION

• Mode: 100% online

• Duration: 14 hours

• Format: 2 theory classes via Zoom, delivery of mixes and feedback via email, closing ceremony via Zoom

PROGRAM TIMELINE

• Saturday, March 21st: Immersive Audio Fundamentals (theoretical class)

• Sunday, March 22nd: Mix Configuration and Workflows (theory + practice)

• Monday, March 23rd to Friday, March 27th: Individual work at home (binaural format)

• Friday, March 27th: Mix delivery

• Monday, March 30th: Individual feedback via email

• Saturday, April 4th: Online ceremony and diploma delivery

REQUIREMENTS

To take the certification, participants must have knowledge of stereo mixing and the following technical and connectivity requirements:

• Windows, MAC OS. macOS 11.7.10 to 14.1.1
• Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Pro
• Pro Tools or another DAW such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Studio One, Nuendo
• 12GB available on the Hard Drive
• Professional wired headphones
